2013 Russian Tourism Year to China

On May 22, 2013 Chinese President Mr. Xi Jinping met with Russian President Mr. Vladimir Putin, as they held an opening ceremony at Moscow Kremlin to inaugurate the “year of Russian Tourism in China”. Mr. Xi represents the very passionate Chinese citizens which invite Russian citizens to visit the many beautiful places in China, explore the Chinese culture and develop friendship between the two nations.

China and Russia had initiated a bilateral national promotion program called “Year of Russian Tourism”. The program had already enlisted over 200 activities including the “Russian CSKA football tour to China”.

According to official figures, the number of visits between the two countries reached 3.3 million last year, with the number of Chinese tourists to Russia increasing 46 percent thanks to the hosting of the Year of Russian Tourism in China.

From June 28 to July 5, 2013, AET (Asia) Limited organized a series of events, including 2013 CSKA Moscow football trip to China, as a contribution to Year of Russian Tourism in China. On June 30, 2013, there was a match between CSKA Moscow and Jiangsu U20 football team and on July 2 2013, there was another match between CSKA Moscow and Jiangsu Sanity football club. On July 1 2013, CSKA Moscow football club visited Nanjing’s famous tourist attraction—Confucius Temple— and on July 4 2013, the whole football club traveled to Shanghai and joined a boat tour of the Huangpu River at night. The whole event was carried out smoothly, AET (Asia) Limited had made a significant contribution to building a good Sino-Russian relationship.
