• In 2011, AET successfully provided 25 sets of Drillmec CBM rigs to one of the largest foreign operators who develop CBM in China, which is the first time for the foreign company to provide such a large number of drilling rigs to China’s market.

• In 2012, AET successfully provided 4 sets of Drillmec Slant Rigs for SWMS (a Joint Venture company by Shell Co. & CNPC Greatwall Drilling Company) on their Australia CBM operation sector. This slant rig design is the most advanced system in the world that Shell has had approved.

• AET introduced Italy’s Drillmec company technology to China market in 2002, and since have joined with Drillmec to provide their 9000m Land rig Mast & Substructure to China’s famous rig manufacturer, BOMCO, in 2004. Drillmec has now transferred their mobile rig technology to Dagang Zhongcheng manufacturer plant. This technology transfer has really helped the Chinese rig manufacturers to improve their drilling rig technology, and now almost 65%-70% of the conventional AC power land rigs in the world are made by the Chinese rig builders.

• AET plans to joint venture with Drillmec and make their most advanced Hydraulic Hoist Rig in China. This will help to lower the high manufacturing cost of the HH rig due to the use of Chinese low labor cost and integration with the already proven Chinese systems (Mud Pumps, Mud System, Mud Tanks, etc.). This will create a complete rig package, which will be an economic solution and will provide high-end technology land rig system for the worldwide customer.
